Message from IAPM President

Dear IAPM Members,

Namaste & Jai Jagannath,

I, on behalf of myself & the Organizing Committee of APCON 2024, heartily welcome all the delegates from the state and outside to 72nd Annual Conference of IAPM scheduled on 11th to 15th December 2024 at Silver city, Cuttack, Odisha. Being from Odisha, it’s my proud privilege as President, IAPM to be host of this megaevent and welcome the eminent & distinguished speakers to share their expertise & experience with us. The conference being organized by Department of Pathology, SCB Medical College, Cuttack in collaboration of Odisha Pathology will be a memorable & successful event for all.

Odisha is famous for its rich cultural heritage of classical art, temple architecture and traditional dance form with strong devotion to Lord Jagannath. It has a wide range of tourist attraction, from coastline to pilgrim sites. At the outset everybody will have chance to visit the National Head Quarter of IAPM standing on the bank of the river Mahanadi.

The pre-conference workshops and the IAP-ID Annual Meeting on the previous two days (11th & 12th Dec ,2024) will add value to the attendance of our young residents and junior faculty. This conference has arranged orations, symposia, guest lectures, plenary sessions and parallel CMEs (covering major sub-specialties) in addition to the workshops to be delivered by eminent international and national faculty. The residents, junior faculty member and experts in this field will be immensely benefitted from the deliberations of this conference.

In this socio-scientific assimilation, no stone is left unturned to provide heart-touching hospitality with its warmth and flavor to provide a delightful and enlightening memory of lifetime. However, for any unintentional lapse, I as “President of IAPM”, appeal to all for their magnanimity and to perceive it as day-dream.
